Dear Roxelle;

It is with very deep appreciation that I write this letter to thank you sincerely for taking part in your class project to create a drawing to be used as the logo for the George family 2012 reunion.

I commend you for the creativity, originality and style you portrayed in your drawing. The quality of work in general, made it quite difficult for me to select only one.  However, in spite of this stiff competition, your work certainly stood out above the rest and I am thrilled to let you know that your creation was selected; the logo for the George reunion.  

Based on the quality of your work, I feel very proud to be called a past pupil of St. Joseph’s Convent, The Graphic Arts program that is now part of the regular curriculum at my Alma Mater, I regret to say that because age got in the way, I missed that program by 40-years, so please continue to take full advantage of this privilege.

The George Family reunion is scheduled to take place here in Grenada during the period of:
August 8-12, 2012.  The event promises to be quite vast as we were able to trace our lineage back to our enslaved African ancestors.

I look forward to having you as a special invited guest to one of the planned events at the reunion. Family members would love to have you present in order to give you live recognition and to publicly thank you for volunteering your time to create the chosen reunion’s logo.  We will send you a formal invitation as the date approaches.

I pray that you continue to develop your wonderful gift in the field of fine arts that God has blessed you with and wish you much success in all your school work. 

Very soon, school will be closed for the year.  I wish you a rewarding and enjoyable school break.
